Abstract

Sustainability has become a major issue faced by organizations worldwide, with the aim of preserving the environment and creating positive social value. One factor that can support the success of sustainability initiatives is employee involvement in the process. This study analyzes how human resource management can encourage employee involvement in sustainability initiatives and how it impacts organizational performance. Companies need to create policies that encourage active employee participation, provide relevant training, and reward their contributions to sustainability. Greater employee involvement can improve organizational performance, both in terms of operational efficiency and achieving sustainability goals. However, to achieve this, companies need to align sustainability goals with corporate values and provide adequate incentives for employee participation. This can accelerate the achievement of long-term sustainability goals and improve the relationship between the organization and employees. Evaluating the effectiveness of employee involvement is an important step in ensuring the success of sustainable sustainability initiatives.
