This article investigates the implementation of law enforcement against street vendors with a focus on the challenges faced, strategies employed, and consequences. It also highlights the legal and human rights issues associated with the enforcement of laws against street vendors. By focusing on this understanding of enforcement, the article seeks to provide a holistic view of the ongoing debate on regulating and policing street vendors. The research method used in this paper is normative juridical in nature. The research is primarily oriented towards literature analysis, which not only examines aspects of written law from various perspectives, but also evaluates the implementation of the law. The results of this study show that carrying out law enforcement against street vendors can contribute to establishing a more structured and clean order in public spaces, which in turn will improve the quality of life of citizens. It is important to undertake efforts that seek to achieve equity between supporting street vendors while ensuring compliance with regulations.
