Fabric Expansion Joint Roller Machine Manufacturing Planning
Keywords:
fabric expansion joint rolling machine manufacturing planningAbstract
The purpose of planning this Fabric Expansion Joint rolling machine are (1) making detailed working drawings and parts thereof, (2) planning safe construction and helping the work, (3) This fabric rolling machine is designed to facilitate the rolling process in order to produce maximum density and does not require a large place for placement. The design concept of this fabric rolling machine refers to the stages of the Pahl and Beitz design concepts, namely: (1) planning and task description, (2) product concept design, (3) product design, (4) detailed design. The tools used in designing this fabric rolling machine are: (1) paper, (2) pencil, (3) computer, (4) autodesk inventor software, (5) printer. The steps of the fabric rolling machine planning process are: (1) searching for finished products available in the market, (2) selecting materials and production techniques, (3) exploring space constraints, (4) identifying product components, (5) developing interface or point of contact between two components, (6) giving shape, (7) evaluation, (8) improvement of materials and production methods, (9 ) improvement of shape. The result of the design is the design and working drawing of the fabric roller machine product. Working drawings consist of: working drawings of the frame and its parts, slides and their parts, working drawings of the pusher handle and its parts, working drawings of gear sprockets, working drawings of sliding and fixed shafts, working drawings of rollers. This fabric rolling machine has the following specifications: (1) dimensions of 770 x 1300 x 770 mm. (2) has an electric motor propulsion of 1/5 HP, (3) uses an electric system as a reversal of the direction of rotation of an electric motor, (4) a transmission system uses chains and couplings, (5) uses a 1:60 reducer. Fabric rolling process takes ±1 hour for 1x Fabric Expansion Joint rolling process with a length of 50 meters.
