Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of individual characteristics and managerial abilities on the development of entrepreneurial skills. Entrepreneurial skills are an important aspect of an entrepreneur's success and business growth. To achieve this goal, this study uses data analysis methods that involve quantitative methods with ex post facto models. Collecting data from 100 respondents who are employee owners in a company in the city of Surabaya. The data obtained from this survey was then analyzed using statistical techniques, such as multiple linear regression, to determine the influence between individual characteristics and managerial abilities and the development of entrepreneurial skills. The results of this study indicate that individual characteristics have a positive influence on the development of entrepreneurial skills. In addition, managerial abilities, especially leadership and strategic planning skills, also have a significant positive influence on the development of entrepreneurial skills.
