Keywords:

Competition in the information technology industry has intensified in line with rapid technological progress and evolving market dynamics. Competitive advantages based solely on physical and financial resources are no longer sufficient to sustain a company’s position in a dynamic market. The knowledge and experience possessed by employees constitute strategic assets that play a central role in creating added value for organizations. This study aims to examine how knowledge management is applied as a source of competitive advantage in information technology companies and to analyze the ways in which employee knowledge and experience are managed as strategic organizational assets. The method employed is a literature review that collects and critically evaluates relevant scholarly sources. The findings indicate that effective knowledge management enables companies to create advantages that are difficult for competitors to replicate, improve work process efficiency, and support sustainable innovation and product development. The main conclusion of this study is that structured and integrated knowledge management aligned with corporate business strategies is a key factor in transforming individual knowledge into collective assets that benefit organizational sustainability and growth. This study contributes to the advancement of knowledge in strategic management and human resource management and provides practical guidance for companies in designing and implementing knowledge management systems suited to organizational needs.
